Remembrance Sunday ~ 2006

Representatives of the Uniformed organisations joined us at the Remembrance Sunday service.   Members of the local Rainbow, Brownies, Guides, Cubs and Scouts joined the congregation in parading and laying wreaths and poppies at the memorial in the church yard.  The names listed on the memorial of the servicemen from the village killed in the First and Second World Wars were read out.  The two minute silence was marked at the start and finish by signal rockets.
