Mrs Rosalind Baber RIP

With Rosalind's sudden death our Church family has experienced a profound loss. The news of her passing has been met universally with shock and many tears have been shed.

Rosalind was so vital to the life and ministry of our parish, especially in her generous hospitality, her thoughtful pastoral work with wedding couples and baptism families, her keeping of the church diary,  and her quiet and often unobserved commitment to maintaining the beauty, cleanliness and order of the church interior. We can only trust that Almighty God will help to uphold us all during this time of loss and grief.

Our thoughts and prayers flow towards Rosalind's family, especially her children Lance, Neil and Annabel.

The family have asked that no flowers be sent. Rather they are inviting donations in memory of Rosalind to The Trinity Project.

For the foreseeable future Mrs Eileen Clark, who assisted Rosalind with her duties, will be taking on the responsibilities of Parish Administrator.

A prayer for those who mourn

God of hope,
we come to you in shock and grief and confusion of heart.
Help us to find peace in the knowledge
of your loving mercy to all your children,
and give us light to guide us out of our darkness
into the assurance of your love,
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
